Educational Qualifications : candidates must have possess 10th class or must possess ITI or equivalent Quealification from recognised University / Board.

Pay Scale : 5,200 - 20,200/-

Selections : selection process is based on performance in written Exam and Physical Efficiency Test ( PET ) followed by Medical Examination.

History of Northern Railways :

Northern Railways is one of the sixteen Zones and the Northern most zone of the Indian Railways. Its headquarters is in Delhi. Northern Railway zone came to its present from on 14 April 1952 by merging Jodhpur Railway, Bikaner Railway, Eastern Punjab Railway and three divisions of the East Indian Railway North - West of Mughalsarai (Utter Pradesh). The zonal Headquarters office of Northern Railways is at Baroda House, New Delhi.
