Educational Qualifications : candidates must have possess 10th class or must possess ITI or equivalent Quealification from recognised University / Board.

Pay Scale : 5,200 - 20,200/-
Selections : selection process is based on performance in written Exam and Physical Efficiency Test ( PET ) followed by Medical Examination.

History of South Eastern Railway :
The South Eastern Railway is one of the 17 zones of the Indian Railways. This zone was formed in 1967 has been historically connected with the railway revolution in India. Its headquarters is at Garden Reach, Kolkata and comprises Adra, Chakradharpur, Kharagpur, and Ranchi divisions. It has three major workshops, namely Jamalpur, Liluah and Kanchrapura.
